So much positivity and passion in your channel, keep on like that!
Thank you! There's enough negativity as it is so I'm trying to bring something positive to the conversation. Thank you for noticing and supporting! ☺️
Great tips
Hello, thanks for video. I was wondering if you have come across the AI chip recognize a school of small colorful fish as noise and try to "fix" it, kind of like the AI video editors will do. I have only seen it on one youtubers video with the ace pro, others have said they haven't seen it but their testing has been a small sample size. Between that and the 8 bit color depth Im hesitant to buy it, but that low light is perfect for UV coral reef dives. Thanks for answer in advance.
I haven't really seen that issue that you describe to be honest. For me it's been consistently performing well
@@DiveSAGA thanks for response, has the 8 bit color or lack of log hindered your content at all?
@@theunderwaterchupacabra2050 not really to be honest. It's a critique I hear often but if you look at some of the videos on this channel, they're shot entirely on the Ace Pro and I don't see an issue with it. It's obviously not meant for the cinemas but it works perfectly for its small size, in difficult shooting situations for display on socials and UA-cam.
Do the insta 360 work nice in photography mode?
Yeah! I don't use it super much because I'm always doing video but when I've done it, the results were reasonable!
@@DiveSAGA if you have a raw file that would be awesome, I have a z8 and doing on ground photography, I looked at case but it is really pricy looking for an alternative
Enjoyed the video! Great commentary n awesome shots 🎉
Thank you! I always love it when people take the time to leave a nice comment like that. I truly appreciate it!
just replace helium with hydrogen, there is a far greater amount of this available on the planet.
Thank you for this wonderful visit to this wreck! How long did you spend down there? I imagine that at 40m, it's not really accessible for recreational diving?
It's accessible for recreational divers, you just have to use Nitrox, limit your depth and of course limit your time. I did do a deco dive.
@DiveSAGA Theoretically, with 28% EAN, I have max 15 minutes of no deco at 40m, so i'd plan maybe 10 minutes inside the wreck to be secure, or even less. Is that enough to enjoy it? It looks so nice that I'm really considering going there once! Or I'll expand my training with tec courses before.
@@teppicxxviii9744 just plan a bit shallower. Some at 35 and some at 30

Wow!😮 some really breathtaking shots!!! Beautifully captured 👌🏻
Thank you! I've been trying to step up the quality of the channel by a lot lately!
@@DiveSAGA it's certainly paying off! I imagine you haven't had much bottom time to figure out the perfect exposure settings and still, especially the staircase shot looks right on the money!!

In a Bit more than a Week I am going to dive the karwella too. Would you recommend to use a drysuit than too? Otherwise I will use a 5 mm wetsuit
Hi! Yes I would do drysuit if you're certified for sure!
@@DiveSAGA maybe i carry both suits with me :D i ve heard about 23 degree celsius. should be warmer than last month. Thank you for your quick answer.
@@p-dog2837 you'll easily get away with a wetsuit, but you'll be more comfortable dry!
I go in ocktober i heard the water is 28 degrees then is a drysuit usefull or to much@@DiveSAGA

I respect all that want to follow the Rec diving tree and become Pro's that teach and guide other people, dive guides, instructors etc, but that's not my objective, I really want to follow Tec Diving, and i think that both SSI and PADI lack information when someone reaches for example Master Diver "50 dives, at least 4 certifications and Stress and Rescue" they seem to push those divers to the traditional.. dive guide, instructor path, other than Tec diving, I would love to take Fundamentals of decompression and further on my knowledge in Diving that I see as a Huge Iceberg, Recreational above water, and an infinite World of TEC under water level, I think a rec diver soon discovers that he does not know nothing at all about diving when he sees the world of Tec. Love your video, subscribed.
I partially agree, I think everyone would benefit from certain fundamentals (like diving with redundancy, single handed skills and basic decompression theory) but I also think Tec isn't for everyone, so they purposely keep it off the "logical" next steps. I do also wish it was featured a bit more prevalently. But I guess it's up to us, the Tec community, to offer it and make it attractive.
Amazing dive, video, and narration.
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Now this location in my list as well 💙
Yes! Don't let it be the first cenote you dive, but it's an interesting one to put on the list for sure!

Thank you to come diving in my country 😊
@@roderickmackay8774 it was an honor!
That is incredible. I went to Atlantis a few times when I was younger and remember the manta rays there so vividly. I would love to experience a dive like this someday.
It is a decent ffm , but it does not hold a candle to a km 18. If you can afford it you are a lot better off with the km 18 or 28.
im thinking to buy a new pair of fins. I came across one of these, i just don't think it will last at the joints. That is why they ready several spares. Very likely after several kicks / trips, they tend to come off in the water and obvious the attached rubber go missing. I like the idea of two strong axial structures which give flexibility and energy saving. I realised that i have weak legs thats why im looking for something like this. open joints but not detachable / shorter in length.
who needs horror movies - wow!
We all need a hobby! 🤷♂️😅
Awesome video. Very informative. Thank you
Thank you!
The elites of diving y’all cool for that
Great video! Thanks! What is the depth of the wreck?
145 feet I believe!
Hi. This is a great review, thanks. May I ask where are you recording these shots, as the visibility is outstanding, especially at high depth (60m) Another question. Did you notice any improvements or add-ons along with the firmware updates you received since you first used this camera? Thanks in advance for your feedback. 👌🏻
Cool video I like the flow and narration. Haven't seen many videos from the Mediterranean. Water looks so clear but I'm used to filming in the Pacific Northwest.
Thank you! On a good day the water in Malta can be absolutely spectacular. Same in our latest episode here: ua-cam.com/video/rFcMo-M3pgE/v-deo.html also in Malta!
I‘m not a fan of shark feeding, first of all because of the association of people in the water with food, but also because of impacts on thee ecology. Sharks who are fed will hunt less, so their job of cleaning the reefs will be neglected. Shark tourism is a good thing for the sharks and the coastal communities alike, but it is absolutely doable without feeding them. I did it in the Red Sea several times.
Had a Vyper first. Now for the last 10? years this Zoop.A real workhorse
Thoughts on white balance settings? When I shoot in auto it tends to “drift” through the course of the video.
@3:41 no buddy check while you walk towards the water without drysuit inflator attached :) ?
Lol in reality that's probably still like 15-20 minutes before the dive though!
As an CCR diver looking at this I am so happy I don't do OC deep dives anymore. Logistics, material, switches, costs and bottomtime, it is simple not worth it on OC anymore...
Excellent video. I agree about the trepidation for gas switching! That was a big pause moment where I realized this type of mistake was possible death.
Yes. The most critical point in the dive!
Hi scuaba fanatics as I'm only ow certified can someone explain why they use Trimix 25/12 at 50m (10:23) this would be ppo2 of 6*0,25=1.5 bar which is far off the (conservative) limit of 1.4 that was taught in the ow-course. Are these divers trained to this ppo2 and "know" they wont get intoxicated or is it normal to go closer to the 1.6 mark when tech diving? Thanks in advance and very thrilling video!
It's common to use 1.6 as a decompression gas since you are much more still than during the working phase of the dive and gives you the highest possible (safe) oxygen dosage.
@@DiveSAGA Thanks alot!
I remember diving with tiger sharks at tiger beach off Grand Bahamas, just amazing!
It's on my bucket list!
Wow fantastic video, love Malta for wreck diving! I remember diving the P29 patrol boat when it was first scuttled back in 2007, we dived it that year and it was pristine. Need to get back and dive this newest wreck!
Yes they're very smart, creating new reasons to get people back!
Blue world 2 but why not, its good Footage and story telling
I consider it a compliment! I try to do it a little bit different (faster paced and more unusual topics) but of course scuba diving videos with a story quickly looks like Blue world since they pretty much invented the format! 💙
So cool! I reeeally need to get to Gozo for so many dive reason 🙌
It's worth a visit for sure!
Hello. So based on your experience, you do not recommend the use of angles such as INON or AOI?
You can, but I personally try to avoid wide angle where I can. But sometimes it's the only option 🙂
